CGS Delegate Meeting Presentations

Graduate Program Funding: A presentation on the current status of graduate program funding was given at the 2005 March CGS delegate meeting. The slideshow for that presentation is available [ppt].

An extended version of this presentation was subsequently given at a meeting of the Council on Research and Graduate Studies. The slideshow for this version is also available. [pdf]

GQUE Update: A presentation on the current status of the GQUE report and its recommendations was given at the 2004 October CGS delegate meeting. The handout for that presentation is available [doc].

Compensation and benefits: The compensation and benefits plan for funded graduate students for the 2004-2005 and 2005-2006 academic years was announced at the April 9, 2004 CGS Delegate Meeting. The slides from that presentation are available. [pdf]

The CGS ad hoc Graduate Compensation and Benefits Committee has prepared a response [pdf] comparing these changes to CGS Resolution 0304-AU-011. The Lantern published an article and editorial covering the April 9 meeting; a letter to the editor clarifying the article was printed on April 21.

Union Renovations: A presentation on the proposal to renovate the Ohio Union was given at the 2004 February CGS delegate meeting. The slideshow (pdf file) from that presentation is available. [pdf]
