An Act Establishing the 2004-05 Standing Committees

Approved 9 July 2004.
Section 1. The purpose of this act is to set the 2004-05 Standing Committees of the Council of Graduate Students, in accordance with Article V, Section 2 of the CGS Bylaws.
Section 2. In addition to the Executive Committee (established by Article VI, Section 1 of the CGS Constitution and Article V, Section 1 of the CGS Bylaws), the Organization and Elections Committee (established by Article V, Section 2 of the CGS Bylaws), and the Ray Award Committee (established by Article VI, Section 3 of the CGS Constitution), the 2004-05 Standing Committees of the Council of Graduate Students will be:
- Academic and HR Policy
- Diversity and International Concerns
- Edward F. Hayes Graduate Research Forum
- Events
- Government Relations
- Outreach and Engagement
- Public Relations
Section 3. This act will take effect immediately upon approval at a regular meeting of the Council of Graduate Students.
