AN ACT CONCERNING 2002-03 MEETING DATES AND TIMES AND SPECIAL EVENTS

Section 1. The purpose of this act is to establish the CGS meeting schedule for the 2002-03 school year, in accordance with Article VII, Section 1 of the CGS Constitution.
Section 2. Meetings in Section 3 will be held from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at a location to be determined by the President of the Council.
Section 3. Meeting dates will be the following Fridays:
- 28 June 2002
- 19 July 2002
- 4 October 2002
- 25 October 2002
- 22 November 2002
- 17 January 2003
- 14 February 2003
- 7 March 2003
- 4 April 2003
- 2 May 2003
- 30 May 2003
Section 4. The Council will hold its annual officer elections at its 2 May meeting.
Section 5. The Graduate Student Orientation, sponsored by the Council of Graduate Students and the Graduate School will be held on Monday, 23 September 2002 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at University Hall.
Section 6. The Annual CGS Welcome Picnic will be held on Friday, 27 September 2002 from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. (location TBA).
Section 7. The Edward F. Hayes Graduate Research Forum will be held on Saturday, 26 April 2003 (time and location TBA).
Section 8. The Annual CGS Spring Picnic will be held on Friday, 6 June 2003 from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. (location TBA).
Section 9. The Annual CGS Inauguration Ceremony will be held on Monday, 23 June 2003 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. (location TBA).
Section 10.This act will take effect immediately upon
approval at a regular meeting of the Council of Graduate Students.
