An Act Amending the Bylaws Concerning Quorum at Executive Committee Meetings

Section 1. The purpose of this amendment is to reconfigure quorum for the CGS Executive Committee, enabling the committee to meet more easily. This amendment is presented in accordance with Article X of the CGS Constitution.

Section 2. The CGS Bylaws will be amended as follows:

Article V - Committees

Section V.1: The Executive Committee

V.1.A. Duties and powers

V.1.A.ii. A quorum shall consist of five seven voting members of the committee, of whom the Executive Officers may not comprise a majority.

Section 3.These changes shall take place immediately upon approval at a regular meeting of the Council of Graduate Students.
