An Act Concerning 2004-05 Meeting Dates and Times and Special Events
Sponsor: The Executive Committee
Section 1. The purpose of this act is to establish the CGS meeting schedule for the 2004-05 school year, in accordance with Article VII, Section 1 of the CGS Constitution.
Section 2. Meetings in Section 3 will be held from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at a location to be determined by the President of the Council.
Section 3. Meeting dates will be the following Fridays:
- 1 October 2004
- 29 October 2004
- 19 November 2004
- 14 January 2005
- 11 February 2005
- 4 March 2005
- 8 April 2005
- 6 May 2005
- 27 May 2005
- 24 June 2005
- 29 July 2005
Section 4. The Council will hold its annual officer elections at its 6 May meeting.
Section 5. The Annual CGS Welcome Picnic will be held on Friday, 24 September 2004 from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. (location TBA).
Section 6. The Edward F. Hayes Graduate Research Forum will be held on Saturday, 17 April 2005 (time and location TBA).
Section 7. The Annual CGS Spring Picnic will be held on Friday, 22 April 2005 from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. (location TBA).
Section 8. The Annual CGS Inauguration Ceremony will be held on Monday, 20 June 2005 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. (location TBA).
Section 9. This act will take effect immediately upon
approval at a regular meeting of the Council of Graduate Students.
