An Act Establishing 2004-05 Meeting and Special Events Dates and Times

Approved 9 July 2004.
Section 1. The purpose of this act is to establish the CGS meeting schedule for the 2004-05 school year, in accordance with Article VII, Section 1 of the CGS Constitution.
Section 2. Meetings in Section 3 will be held from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at a location to be determined by the President of the Council.
Section 3. Meeting dates will be the following Fridays:
- 1 October 2004
- 29 October 2004
- 19 November 2004
- 14 January 2005
- 11 February 2005
- 4 March 2005
- 8 April 2005
- 6 May 2005
- 27 May 2005
- 24 June 2005
- 29 July 2005
Section 4. The Council will hold its annual officer elections at its 6 May meeting.
Section 5. The Annual CGS Welcome Picnic will be held on Friday, 24 September 2004 from 4:30 to 7:00 pm in the Ohio Union West Ballroom and Patio.
Section 6. The Edward F. Hayes Graduate Research Forum will be held on Saturday, 16 April 2005 from 7:30 am - 3:00 pm (location TBA).
Section 7. The Annual CGS Spring Picnic will be held on Friday, 6 May 2005 from 4:30 to 7:00 pm (location TBA).
Section 8. The Annual CGS Inauguration Ceremony will be held on Monday, 20 June 2005 from 5:30 to 7:00 pm (location TBA).
Section 9. This act will take effect immediately upon
approval at a regular meeting of the Council of Graduate Students.
