An Act Establishing the 2004-05 Standing Committees

Section 1. The purpose of this act is to revise the list of 2004-05 Standing Committees of the Council of Graduate Students.
Section 2. This act rescinds and replaces Act 0405-SU-002, approved by the Council in July.
Section 3. In addition to the Executive Committee (established by Article VI, Section 1 of the CGS Constitution and Article V, Section 1 of the CGS Bylaws), the Organization and Elections Committee (established by Article V, Section 2 of the CGS Bylaws), and the Ray Award Committee (established by Article VI, Section 3 of the CGS Constitution), the 2004-05 Standing Committees of the Council of Graduate Students will be:
- Academic & Human Relations Policy
- Diversity and International Student Concerns
- Events
- Government Relations
- Outreach and Engagement
- Public Relations
- Student Affairs
Section 4. This act will take effect immediately upon approval at a regular meeting of the Council of Graduate Students.
