An Act Establishing 2005-06 Meeting and Special Events Dates and Times

Section 1. The purpose of this act is to establish the CGS meeting schedule for the 2005-06 school year, in accordance with Article VII, Section 1 of the CGS Constitution.
Section 2. Meetings in Section 3 will be held from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at a location to be determined by the President of the Council.
Section 3. Meeting dates will be the following Fridays:
- 30 September 2005
- 28 October 2005
- 18 November 2005
- 13 January 2006
- 10 February 2006
- 3 March 2006
- 7 April 2006
- 5 May 2006
- 26 May 2006
- 23 June 2006
- 28 July 2006
Section 4. The Council will hold its annual officer elections at its 5 May 2006 meeting.
Section 5. The Annual CGS FAll Welcome Picnic will be held on Friday, 23 September 2005 from 4:30 to 7:00 pm in the Ohio Union West Ballroom and Patio.
Section 6. The Edward F. Hayes Graduate Research Forum will be held on Saturday, 22 April 2006 from 7:30 am - 3:00 pm (location TBA).
Section 7. The Annual CGS Spring Picnic will be held on Friday, 12 May 2006 from 4:30 to 7:00 pm in the Ohio Union West Ballroom and Patio.
Section 8. The Annual CGS Inauguration Ceremony will be held on Monday, 19 June 2006 from 5:30 to 7:00 pm (location TBA).
Section 9. This act will take effect immediately upon approval at a regular meeting of the Council of Graduate Students.
