Senate: We are still looking for candidates for the MAPS position. Regarding Senate Committees, 97 percent of our committee positions are filled. There is one seat available on the Council of Enrollment and Student Progress.
Research and Graduate Council: The Administrative Sciences position is still available.
Delegates: As of November 15, 2002, we have 61 delegates out of a possible 149.
University-wide Committees: There are quite a few university-wide committee seats available. Any graduate student can sit on a university-wide committee. Delegate status is not a prerequisite. A call for judges went out in November to deans, department chairs and graduate studies chairs. I have received several applications. An article about the forum and the opportunity to be a judge should be in the Lantern in the next week. I hope to have the majority of the judges confirmed by January 1, 2003. Please encourage your advisor to participate. The location of the Research Forum will be announced soon.
