Vice President's Report
I. Recruitment
Senate: All seats filled.
Research and Graduate Council: All seats are filled
Officer Elections: Nominations for president, vice president and secretary have closed. Elections will be at the 6 May meeting. Nominations are still open for treasurer, since we did not receive any nominations prior to the deadline. Elections for treasurer will take place at the 27 May meeting. Nominations will remain open until 3:30pm on 13 May. If you have any questions, please contact Kerry Hodak (hodak.2@osu.edu) prior to the 6 May meeting and Cathy Baack (baack.4@osu.edu) after the 6 May meeting.
Delegates: We are accepting applications for delegate positions. Currently there are 77 delegates out of 150 available seats. Anyone who is certified for Spring Quarter of this academic year will be certified to continue serving for the 05-06 academic year.
We are accepting applications for university-wide committees for the 05-06 academic year. CGS elects and/or appoints approximately 100 graduate students to policy making committees across campus.
II. Hayes Graduate Research Forum
Special thanks to all of the faculty judges and volunteers who made this year's Research Forum a success. 97 graduate students presented at the Research Forum. The Proceedings are expected to be completed by mid-July.
