I. Recruitment
Senate:
We are still in need of Senators for the following programs for the 04-05 Academic Year:

Research and Graduate Council: We are still in need of RGC Representatives for the following programs for the 04-05 Academic Year:
Administrative Sciences, Bioscience, Education, and Engineering

Delegates: As of October 20, 2004, we have 36 delegates appointed, and 13 in process out of a possible 150. We are accepting applications for delegate positions for this year.
University-wide Committees: We are continuing to accept applications for these positions for next year. We still need to appoint someone to the following list of committees: Alcohol Community Coalition, Buckeyes Watch Coordinating Committee, Campus Campaign Council, Coca-Cola Marketing Advisory Committee, COTA/OSU Advisory Committee, Council on Academic Freedom & Responsibility (CAFR), Council on Enrollment and Student Progress, Council on Libraries and Information Technology, Fulbright Program Coordinating Committee, Homecoming Steering Committee, Labor Advisory Committee, Legislative/Govt Affairs Committee, Main Library Renovation Advisory Committee, Martin Luther King Jr. Day Steering Committee, Parking Permit Review Committee, Registrar's Office Appeals Board, Registrar's Student Advisory Group, Research Computing Advisory Council, RGC - Curriculum Committee, RGC - Policy & Standards Committee, Schottenstein Center Advisory Committee, Senate Diversity Committee, Student Health Insurance, Traffic and Parking Appeals Board, University Area Commission, University Area Student Safety Initiative, University Bookstore Advisory Committee, University Career Services Committee, University Departmental Teaching Excellence Awards, University District Organization, University Diversity Council, University Judicial Panel, and Welcome Week Steering Committee. Please check the CGS website for information about these important committees and applications. These positions start in the fall and go until Summer 2005.
II. Organization and Elections Committee
We are continuing to accept applications for Senate/RGC positions and delegate positions for next year. Interviews are being scheduled and calls for delegates are being sent out to departments that are without delegates.
III. Hayes Research Forum
The 2005 Edward F. Hayes Graduate Research Forum Proceedings are in and will be sent out to the winners and university dignataries soon.
